A second trip to the Obeh hot springs. This is the bus we traveled on as it stopped for a rest and to pick-up and unload passengers. Sometimes they just stopped to add water to the radiator. Animals on the bus almost always traveled up top. People riding on top got a better view and less crowding, but more road dust. Just inside the open front door is Madeline, my future wife. Generally foreigners were give the best seats on the bus. <br> The Blair Brainard Peace Corps in Afghanistan Photographic Collection captures the photographers experience as a Peace Corps volunteer in Afghanistan, primarily in the city of Herat, 1965-1968.
