- “Miss Elise Wright of Bland, a student teacher in the McGuffey Training School, talking with the members of the cast of the one act play ‘Mother on Her Day’ given by the children of the McGuffey Training School of the State Teachers College at Radford on Friday evening in the college auditorium. This one act play was under the direction of Miss Natalie DeHart of Roanoke, of the drama department of the college. On the back row, seated left to right, are Steve Moore, Bobbie Chaney, Miss Wright, Jimmy Kesling, and Margaret Aston. Front row: Howard Franzman and Patricia Arthur.
