- A construction site in downtown Pulaski on land owned by Thomas J. McCarthy Sr. Here we see Hotel Pulaski being dismantled to make way for retail shops on West Main Street in Pulaski. This photograph is sometime after 1962. From studio portraiture to candid shots around Pulaski County, Virginia, the Farmer Photograph Collection shows the people and daily life in and around Pulaski County, Virginia in the 1945-1995 timeframe.
