Tommy Tate was interviewed in Radford University’s McConnell Library about his years as an Army Air Force solder in World War II, and relates several personal stories about flying in B29 aircrafts, bombing raids on Tokyo and the general life of a soldier during the war years. He also talks about life both before and after World War 2 in Radford and Blacksburg, Virginia.
