Bunk Austin, a Marine from Radford Virginia talks to Ron Kolenbrander in Radford University’s McConnell Library about his time on Tinian Island where the atomic bomb was housed and later loaded onto the Enola Gay. He also gives details about the flight of the Enola Gay on the way to Hiroshima and the crew and relates stories about life in Radford, Virginia both before and after World War 2.
