Description
On January 21, 2017, hundreds of thousands of people marched in support of women's rights, women's health issues, immigrant rights, LGBT rights and other issues. These marches were held in Washington DC, Los Angeles, Atlanta, New York and many other places, including Antarctica, London, Australia, Germany and other countries. The Archives and Special Collections unit of Radford University's McConnell Library is conducting interviews of participants of various marches to help preserve the history, the ideas and impressions of those marchers. On February 2, 2017 Alison Armstrong came to our Archives office and talked about her march experience, her previous marches, her thoughts on the future and more. An HD version of this interview is available on our Archives Vimeo page- https://vimeo.com/220377029
