- In this letter from John Preston McConnell to Carl and Rio McConnell, Dr. McConnell shares various family news and again mentions the missing letter that included $10. In this letter he mentions he included forwarding instructions on the missing letter and he mentions South America as the forwarding location. He encloses a copy of a letter he wrote to the postmaster of British Guiana in which he asks for assistance in finding the missing letter and includes ten cents for any additional postage necessary to forward the letter should it be found.
