- Description
- In this letter to the McConnells from Carl and Rio, as they did often, both took turns writing. Rio tells about arriving in Yugoslavia and meeting Dr. Hadzi, of getting a gift of eidelweiss and being surprised at what it looks like, about some sight seeing, and getting settled. Carl tells a bit about government monompolies, bootleggers, experiencing an earthquake and explains that they are learning German.
