- This file contains two letters, one written by John Preston McConnell to the Virginia Academy of Science and their response letter. Dr. McConnell paid his and his son Carl's dues to the academy and he is requesting a receipt be sent to Carl in Yugoslavia. The response letter indicates that Carl is not a member of the society and they are requesting he apply for membership if dues are to be kept.
