- In this letter to Carl and Rio McConnell in Jugoslavia, John Preston McConnell spends most of four pages updating Carl on efforts toward finding him a job when he returns to the United States. Dr. McConnell has registered Carl in eight Teacher Agencies and has written personally to many colleges informing them of Carl's education, research, and date of availability. Many of the letters Dr. McConnell wrote to these institutions are on file in our archive but have not been included in this collection.
