- Description
- In this letter to Carl and Rio, John Preston McConnell passes on new information he has learned in his efforts toward finding Carl employment in the United States. Of particular interest, he mentions that Milligan College has appointed Carl a Professor of Chemistry with a salary of $3000, approves of a letter Carl sent to the president of William and Mary, and advises Carl once again to stay in Europe for an additional year if possible.
