- In this letter to Carl and Rio, John Preston McConnell gives reassurance to Carl that he will find a job when he returns to the United States, mentions that he is going to Richmond, Virginia for a Pension Fund Committee of the United States meeting (he is the chairman of the Virginia committee), and mentions that he may have messed up Carl and his brother Paul's insurance coverage is will try to sort it all out.
