- Description
- This letter from John Preston McConnell to his son Carl, he mostly talks of potential job openings for Carl in both Williamsburg College, and at the College of Peru (Nebraska). He mentions that Nebraska is a very progressive state and he thinks Carl would like it there. Also of interest is that he mentions that he will be giving Carl's wife, Rio, some money so that she can rejoin Carl in Paris. Rio had recently returned to the United States for back surgery. Included in this entry is a letter that Dr. McConnell wrote to President Pate of the College of Peru about Carl McConnell.
