- Description
- In this letter to Carl and Rio, John Preston McConnell suggests that Carl come to Radford for the summer and that if he does, Dr. McConnell will assign some stenographers to him so that he can dictate his memoirs. He states that "we could have some stencils cut and run off on the duplicating machine something like I wrote of the McConnell family". He also tells Carl that he has recently spoken to Dr. Chandler of Richmond University about employing Carl. He also mentions a packet of professional articles Carl wrote and sent to Radford. Dr. McConnell is curious how to preserve and distribute them.
