- Description
- The three letters in this file represent one of the efforts John Preston McConnell made to be sure his son Carl's medical bills were up to date. Carl McConnell suffered from various war related health issues and had to seek medical attention several times after the war. In these letters, we see Dr. McConnell has contacted Johns Hopkins Hospital and inquired as to the balance of Carl's bill. In the second letter, a representative of Johns Hopkins is alerting Dr. McConnell that $180 is owed. In the third letter, Dr. McConnell indicates he will be sending a check for about half the amount owed very soon.
