- Description
- This letter to Carl from his father, John Preston McConnell is mostly concerned with passing along family news. Of interest though is a paragraph about the McConnells going to a conference in New Orleans. Dr. McConnell says that he will look for jobs for Carl while he is there but points out that jobs are still very scarce since at this point the Great Depression has only just getting started.
