- In this short letter to his father, Carl McConnell appears to just be alerting him that all is well, mentions he will be studying with Dr. Bjorni Sammundson in Iceland and that his friend Dr. Hjalmar Brock, in anticipation of his visit had gathered together a large amount of literature for Carl to view while in Oslo, Norway.
