- Description
- In this letter to his son Carl, John Preston McConnell relates various news, and mentions there is an election approaching and that the topic of allowing alcohol back into the town of Radford is on the agenda. He is urging Carl to contact Mr. Jim Epperly, the local registrar to inquire about voting. Dr. McConnell was very concerned with keeping alcohol out of the town and wanted to be sure all in his family voted in the correct way on the issue.
