- Description
- This letter to Carl from his father, John Preston McConnell is interesting because it contains notes that Carl wrote in the margins in response to some points in the letter. It is unclear if this was because sometimes the family would circulate letters amongst themselves so that everyone would know the same information, or if Carl was writing these notes to help him prepare a response to the letter, or if there was a different reason. The letter is mostly to tell him that his brother Paul had left to go to Edinburgh, Scotland by way of London, England.
