Description
Gypsy [Romani] family camp showing tents, people and carriages.
From studio portraiture to candid location shots, the William O. Trevey Glass Slide Collection documents the daily lives and labor of coal miners, primarily in the New River Coal Fields of southern West Virginia, at the turn of the Twentieth Century.
Title and descriptions were created by the photographer around the turn of the 19th century. McConnell Library Archives and Special Collections does not endorse this usage to describe the Romani People.
