Dorothy DeBolt (1923-2013) is known for bringing attention and acceptance to the needs of handicapped children in public schools, and for educating the American public about the need for adoptive homes for special needs children. Jeff Douglas interviewed Ms. DeBolt on April 1, 1981 on the radio show Different Voices. This show was aired on the Radford University campus station WVRU (89.9 FM)
