Description

Students from a Volgograd, USSR daycare school perform a dance. The children wear costumes ranging from ballerina type, traditional Russian type and various other. The city of Tsaritsyn was founded in 1555, was renamed Stalingrad in 1925 and later renamed Volgograd in 1961. From photographs taken by William C. Blizzard during a trip to the Soviet Union, 1979.
