- 87 meter tall statue entitled "The Motherland Calls" in Volgograd Russia (formerly Stalingrad, Russia) commemorating the Battle of Stalingrad and designed by Yevgeny Vuchetich. From photographs taken by William C. Blizzard during a trip to the Soviet Union, 1979.
