- A female day care/kindergarten teacher in Volgograd, USSR leads an outdoor play session for eight children. The city of Tsaritsyn was founded in 1555, was renamed Stalingrad in 1925 and later renamed Volgograd in 1961. From photographs taken by William C. Blizzard during a trip to the Soviet Union, 1979.
