Description
Sammy Shelor was interviewed and filmed in Floyd, Virginia in February 2014 by Bud Bennett, John Hildreth and Tom Snediker. In this relaxed and candid interview, he talks about his family's musical history, his start in playing banjo, Huber Banjos, the Lonesome River Band and many other things. One of the highlights of the interview was that he sometimes illustrated points in his talk with live banjo playing.
