Description
On August 18, 2014 Jens Kruger sat down with a film crew from Radford University and told us about his musical life. In part 1 he tells about his early life in Switzerland, how he started playing the tenor banjo and later the five string banjo, and his start along with his brother Uwe in the music business first as street musicians and later as semi-professionals. Part 1 ends as as he and his wife decide to come to America where they meet up and are befriended by Bill Monroe.
