Description
Another Peace Corps Volunteer, Madeline Davies. She was sitting in a dry waterfall. Madeline was teaching Midwifery at the local hospital in Herat. Madeline and I were later married in 1968 after our Peace Corps tours. The Blair Brainard Peace Corps in Afghanistan Photographic Collection captures the photographers experience as a Peace Corps volunteer in Afghanistan, primarily in the city of Herat, 1965-1968.
