Original continuous bifolium from a medieval manuscript Psalter. 19 lines, written in Latin on animal parchment in small gothic bookhand with serrated line extenders in red, blue, and burnished gold. One large three-line illuminated initial in burnished gold on burgundy and blue ground with an interior of delicate white tracery and orange flowers extending into the margin. The one-line illuminated "I" begins Psalm 30 (King James 31) 14 - 25: "In eo dum . . ." The three-line illuminated "B" begins Psalm 31 (King James 32): 1 - 9: "Beati . . ."

Two original leaves (four pages - not continuous) from a medieval manuscript Psalter-Hours. 13 lines of ruled Latin text, written with black ink on animal vellum. Paintings in the lower margins display a blue, pink, and gold bar being pulled by creatures. Each bar contains a seated or standing dog or rabbit. One two-line illuminated initial in pink with interior floral motif in red and blue and burnished gold, on a deep blue and pink ground with delicate white penwork. Thirteen illuminated line-extenders in burnished gold, blue, orange, and pink, three with fish. The first illuminated "E" begins Psalm 122 (King James 123) 2 - 4: "Ecce sicut . . ." The large illuminated "N" begins Psalm 123 (King James 124) 1 - 6: "Misi quia . . ." The illuminated "Q" begins Psalm 12 (King James 13) 5 - 6 followed by Psalm 42 (King James 43) 1 - 4: "Qui . . ."
