May 5-15, 1975 New York University's Loeb Student Center's art committee joined with the Fine Arts Museum of the Women's Interart Center in presenting a series of special events to salute 1975 Women and Art. Betty Parsons (1900-1982) was an American artist, art dealer, and collector known for her early promotion of abstract expressionism. Vivienne Wechter (1910-2001) was an abstract still life painter and was Professor of the Psychology of Creativity at Fordham University. In this recording, Ms. Wechter interviews Ms. Parsons at a Women's Interart Center event.
