Cindy Nemser (1937-2021) was an American art historian and writer and was the founder and editor of the Feminist Art Journal. Maggie Tripp (1921-2014) was a feminist and activist known as "the respected mouthpiece of the women's movement". Lawrence Alloway (1926-1990)was an English art critic and curator known for coining the terms "Pop Art" and "Mass Popular Art". Ruth Van Doren is an artist who works in painting, photography, glass blowing, papermaking, book arts, and jewelry. Dorothy Gillespie (1920-2012) was an American artist known for large, colorful, abstract sculptures and was artist in residence at the Women's Interart Center in NY.
