The resonator is a wooden shell that is attached to the Heli-Mount frame by means of four brass lugs and four thumbscrews. Soundwaves bounce off the resonator and are directed away from the player and towards the listener. This photograph shows the notch in the wall of the resonator to accomodate the banjo neck.
